The candidate should also have hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments using Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation and design specifications.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with government stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and user needs.
Lead end-to-end UX/UI design activities including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
Facilitate UX workshops, journey mapping, and design thinking sessions using Miro.
Conduct usability testing sessions with real users and iterate designs based on feedback using tools like Maze / UserTesting / Hotjar.
Translate complex government workflows into simple, intuitive, and accessible digital experiences.
Collaborate with Salesforce developers and architects to ensure design feasibility within Salesforce platform constraints.
Ensure design consistency through design systems, components, and reusable patterns in Figma.
Work in Agile environments using Jira for sprint planning, tracking, and delivery execution.
Use Confluence to document UX flows, design decisions, and functional specifications.
Present design solutions and user flows to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 for government applications.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in UI/UX design for enterprise applications.
Strong hands-on experience in designing Salesforce-based applications (Salesforce Lightning experience preferred).
Expert-level proficiency in modern UX/UI tools such as Figma (mandatory).
Experience using collaboration and workshop tools like Miro.
Strong experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
Experience conducting usability testing using tools such as Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, or similar platforms.
Strong experience in UX research, journey mapping, persona creation, and service design.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Government or public sector project experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with distributed Agile teams across multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with accessibility audits and compliance (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508).
Experience working in fast-paced consulting or professional services environments.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and storytelling abilities for presenting design rationale.
Strong analytical thinking with ability to simplify complex systems.
High attention to detail and structured thinking approach.
Strong collaboration mindset with cross-functional teams (business, tech, and government stakeholders).
